UPDATE: Friday, August 3,
2007
Hey everybody,
Well we just finished up
with youth conference. It has been even harder to get to email
here. youth conference went well. We will be leaving tomorrow to
go back to Siem Reap. Pray for safe travel! also continue to
pray for safe travel from here to the states. Everyone has been
healthy. we have had a few sromach aches here and there, but not
serious. It has been a blast to see God working in each of your
kids. Some are ready to come home and others could stay for
another 6 months. Pray that we finish well and that are travels
with each other will be good and free from disunity. I will try
my best to email you before we leave Korea to let you know that
we are on our way home. Hope all is well in Evanston!
Doing His work,
Pastor Paul

UPDATE: 7/26/2007
We hit the ground running today. The internet
place beside our housing went down and last night the power went
out on our street. That's the way it is overseas. Everyone on
the team is doing great, no sickness at all. The first day of
ministry was tough for most all of our students. They were
all experiencing cultural shock--some more than others. After
the first day it has gotten better. They would all rather eat
something else, but have tried everything! I just started to see
glimpses of God working on hearts yesterday. It is really
awesome to be the leader and observe God working. Continue to
pray for safety and that we finish English camp well this week.
Also pray for safety on the road as we travel to the youth
conference, which is about a 5-8 hour trip going an average of
30-40 mph. I will try to write again before we leave. Thank you
again for your support and prayers!

UPDATE: 7/26/2007
We are in the Korea airport
waiting to go to Cambodia. We had a great visit in Seoul with the Miller's. We
ate a great meal and got to see some of Seoul. The students are having a
blast! They all loved the food and had a good time. We are tired but hanging
in there. Thanks for praying for us and I will write when we get to Cambodia!
