Juarez, Mexico Mission

The following are highlights from the mission to Juarez, Mexico April 7th-15th, 2007:

Hello everyone,

We just wanted to send a quick note telling of a few highlights from this week's activities.  On Monday and Tuesday we went to the Colonia and spent time in fellowship with the Men, Women, and children that lived in the area.  We started each day by walking around and inviting families to attend the scheduled activities at the Church.

During the studies and activities we had in excess of 25 men, women, and children who accepted Christ as their personal Savior.  In the men's study we only had a total of six for both days, however, three of them accepted Christ into their hearts.  I personally had a man by the name of Manuel accept Christ with me on the first day.  Manuel showed up on the second day with part of his family and introduced me to them.  It is hard to summarize this experience, but Manuel told his family they were "With God" again, told his boss he had to have the day off to spend it with his Christian brothers.  Praise God !  Manuel also brought his wife and child, he has seven children, to the Church on the second day.  His son, named Saul, is confined to a wheelchair with physical ailments but is very able to communicate.  Manuel, Elvia, and myself prayed the prayer of salvation with Saul and ensured his place in Heaven with our Savior.  The whole experience was very moving for me and I am very blessed to be a part of it.

We had several more scenarios that were truly divine intervention from God in these two days at the Colonia.  People were excepting the Lord everywhere you looked and if not the seed was at least being planted in their hearts.

The third day we went to the Orphanage and spent he entire day with them.  Wow!  What a wonderful day of fellowship in the Lord's presence.  We played games, baseball, soccer, crafts and all different activities with the children the whole day.  The children had a wonderful time and we felt as blessed and thankful for them as they did for us.  The outreach team was definitely filled with the Spirit who was our main source of energy that day.

Your prayers for the health, energy, and courage for the team would be greatly appreciated, thank you, and God Bless You All !!!

 Sincerely,

Jason Wiggins

"Finish each day and be done with it.  You have done what you could.  Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forger them as soon as you can.  Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be cumbered with your old nonsense."

Ralph Waldo Emerson

Here are some highlights from Monday "Day One", we will try and minimize the amount of photo's from here on out.

Thanks, God Bless, and Enjoy !!

Here are a few of Tuesday's highlights:

A few highlights from Wed. at the Orphanage, God Bless You All, He has blessed us !!

Thursday we all went to the Women's shelter and this was the first IFM trip to this facility.  We really didn't know what to expect, so we just prayed and allowed God to work through us.

After leaving this wonderful place the only words I can say that describe what happened are "Soul Harvest".

These women and children were ready, willing, and starving for the "Word of God" and love or just a little bit of attention from anyone that would give it to them.  This was a very rewarding day for the team and especially for the Kingdom of God !!

Enjoy the photos and God Bless you all !
