Missions

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19)

Why We Do Missions

A church cannot be a great commission church and neglect world missions. Missions are the very heart beat of God. God is and always will be a missionary first. After all, He sought you. Because it is our vision to be a church that loves God by loving people, loving those who are not within our national borders is intricately linked to the health and life of our church. Our goal is to be a mission’s minded church. Understanding that just giving our money is not enough. It means giving of our time and especially our prayers too.

It is our goal to keep an awareness of missions active and vibrant in our services and programs.

We will not be a truly healthy mission’s minded church until we see our young people taking short term mission trips and dedicating their lives to full time ministry in missions. Missions is the ministry.

Missionary of the Month:

Dennnis and Marilyn Maves

Missionary to Mongolia

1. Pray that our authorization to operate as an NGO will be approved soon. The government offices have been giving us a difficult time. We need their favor and approval.

2. Pray that God will raise up leaders in the new church plant in Erdenet. The Yims who are currently working there will be leaving for their Home Assignment in May.

3. Pray for our up-coming Prayer Retreat March 2-4, 2007. Pastor Jack Stimmel and his wife Diana will lead in a section of the College of Prayer. Pray that this will be a time of refreshment, challenge and growth for us as a team.

4. Pray that the Lord would give us wisdom as we develop new projects for Ulaanbaatar in addition to our projects in Darhan. The government is requiring this since we moved to the capital city this past July.
