Great Commission Sunday is May 18. Great Commission Sunday is a celebration of what God is doing through The Christian and Missionary Alliance. It is an invitation to the U.S. C&MA family to give an extra gift to the Great Commission Fund (GCF). This is a gift above and beyond each person’s usual giving to the GCF. It will help send more Alliance missionaries and expand God’s Kingdom into new places. This is an Alliance family event. The Women’s Tuesday Morning Bible Study will continue through the Summer. We’ll meet each week at Hamblin Park, 11 a.m. The study is “Get Out of that Pit,” by Beth Moore. Questions at the back of each chapter will be reviewed. Our time together is informal—bring the kids—they can play while we study. Bring a lunch and share in the fellowship after the study. Books may be purchased at Lifeway Bookstore in Salt Lake, or online. Call Dana, 789.5892 if you have questions. Support our team’s September vision trip to Mongolia by having a great time, some good treats, and a lot of laughs. We need contributions of your valuable items and skills, AND folks to buy those items and skills. How creative can you be in your donation? Bet you can beat these standbys: yard work, ironing, baby sitting, computer lessons, music lessons and doggie sitting. How about an oil change or tune up? What about your hand made projects; quilts, art work, knitted or crocheted items, wood working items? If you like to cook, how about donating a meal, fancy or not, or whip up your favorite goodies and bring them to sell? If you like adventure you won’t want to miss this auction. Items already donated include full day ATV rides in the Uintas followed by a tasty Dutch Oven meal and a weekend family getaway on the Grey’s River with unlimited ATV rides, guided fly fishing, hiking and great Dutch Oven campfire meals. There’s even a rumor of a guided archery elk hunt in the works. Dessert will be served during the auction along with a great time with our church family. So, put on your creative thinking cap, invite family and friends—this will be a fun event! Contact Pastor Paul or Teresa Kenneda (789.8799) for more information or how to handle your donation.
